Hi @MATT072783

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP OfficeJet 250 Mobile All-in-One is showing a paper jam error but no paper is actually stuck, it might be a false error caused by either a minor obstruction, misalignment, or an issue with the printer's sensors. Here are some troubleshooting steps to try and clear the error:

1. Power Cycle the Printer

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
  • Check if the error clears after rebooting.

2. Check the Paper Path Again

Even if you don’t see any visible paper, there could be small bits of paper or dust in the paper path or rollers. Follow these steps:

  • Open the printer’s front panel and look inside for any small pieces of paper or debris.
  • Check the input tray and the output tray for any obstruction.
  • Gently shake the printer (with it powered off) to make sure nothing small is stuck inside.

3. Inspect the Paper Feed Rollers

  • Open the printer’s front panel and check the paper feed rollers. These are the rubber wheels that help feed paper into the printer.
  • If you see anything stuck to the rollers, use a soft cloth to clean them. You can dampen the cloth slightly with water (not too wet) to remove any ink buildup or debris.
  • Manually rotate the rollers to ensure they’re moving freely.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
