Hello- my hp officejet 6958 suddenly won't print black ink. I have replaced the cartridge and the printer says the ink level is full. I have the latest software installed. Printed test pages and done print head cleaning. Test pages show color but no black. I have unplugged the printer for a minute and then restarted. This printer is one year old but we use it seldomly. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Are you able to copy in black?

I have the same problem with my Hp 6958 and it also won't copy and print. The software and drivers are up to date. The cartridges are new. We've cleaned the printhead twice. Please send us the message that you said is a private message as to how we can solve this problem.

If you have already performed the steps from the document Black or Color Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.
Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
