Problem not solved:

Hi i have a Hp Officejet Pro 8710 i am trying to print some photos how do i get it to print in 4800 x 1200 dpi setting when i go and click print in adobe photoshop  it show  print quality 600 DPI how do i get it to print at 4800 x 1200 dpi setting

 

i am using HP Premium Plus Soft-gloss Photo Paper-25 sht/Letter/8.5 x 11 in

hp store website on specifications  tab  it show that can print at Resolution color

Up to 4800 x 1200 optimized dpi on HP Advance Photo Paper 1200 x 1200 dpi input

do i need to install a special printer driver to print at 1200 dpi.

You need to use HP Advanced photo paper to be able to change the print resolution to maximum. If you use plain paper then maximum dpi is like 600 DPI.

i don't have  HP Advanced photo paper option all i have for options see attached photo

i even tried to print this from a windows 10 and windows 7 computer and it still stuck at 600 dpi 

i am using hp current printer drivers and the firmware is up to date
