Microsoft Windows 11

Recently had my laptop forcibly upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11.  Updated the printer drivers (printer: Hp Officejet 4655).  Now headers are being overwritten by the body text where they weren't before.  The margin seems to start 1/2" lower than it did before,  Header/margin info was:

Old:    Top margin: .75",  header: .25" <-- this used to work

New:  Top margin:1.25", header: .25". <-- now I have to add .50 inch to the top margin to prevent overwritten headers

@dropspun, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I see that you are having issues while printing with the header and margins.

  • Are you using the HP Smart app to print?
  • Have you tried printing different types of documents like PDF, Word, or Webpages and check if the issue persists?

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and fix any driver issue

Click here to download the file. Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and click on 'Fix printing'.

If the issue persists, proceed to the next step.

Use the full-feature printer driver instead of the HP Smart app.

Click here to download the HP Full-feature driver.

Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and follow the on-screen instructions. Try printing.

Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.
