Hello, after updating my 552dw, the printer is frozen. The power button does not work and the LCD screen options are non-responsive to touch.
Can I somehow rollback the update or do a hard reset when none of the buttons are responsive?

Same exact problem. It was frozen after on a screen that said "update applied". No amount of restarts, while holding the power button or not, are doing anything. It seems to get to the home screen with a yellow exclamation mark on the network indicator, and freeze. The WebUI is not reachable via the printer's IP, and it is not printing anything.
Upon booting or cycling the main tray, it still tries to perform calibration or something because I can hear it moving around like normal.
Please, at least test your **bleep**ing updates before you roll them out irreversibly. SMH, HP

Looking for some information about which printers you all have and if you know which firmware revision was just applied. From what I can tell the applied firmware is 2337B and shows a release date of September 14th.

it's not the same on as the other guy, mine is a HP PageWide Pro MFP 477dw
Not sure how I'm expected to get the firmware version as it is completely unresponsive
Ig it was rolled out for the entire product lineup or something

the update was probably pushed to all A4 pagewide products, which would include 300-400 and 500 series products. The 2 unit that have come into my shop I have been able to recover. This is what worked for me. Unplug the printer and leave it for about 1/2 hour. I say that because the one that was brought to my shop had been sitting about that long before I plugged it in. While you are waiting, you need to download the update utility for your model from support.hp.com. The current online version showing for the models I was dealing with was older than the auto pushed out version. Take that file and open it with 7-zip. Extract the .FUL2 file onto a USB pen drive. Insert that drive in the usb slot by the control panel and power on the printer. Be patient, the two units I had took a long time to start up. Once powered up, you should see a USB icon on the control panel. Touch that and it should show a "update available" icon. Touch the icon and the update/downgrade should apply. Hopefully this works for other users as well.
