Hi @IchiroS2,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding the HP Smart Tank 7302 Control Panel Not Lighting Up!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Check Power Connection:

  • Ensure the printer is properly connected to a power source and the power cord is securely plugged in.
  • Try disconnecting and reconnecting the power cord to ensure there is a good connection.

Power Button:

  • Press the power button to see if the printer turns on. The power button should light up when the printer is turned on.

Energy Saving Mode:

  • If the printer is in sleep mode or energy-saving mode, the display may be dimmed. Wake the printer by pressing any button or opening the scanner lid.

Error Codes:

  • Check if any error codes or lights are displayed. This can indicate specific issues that need to be addressed. Refer to the control panel error codes in the user guide.

Reset the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer, unplug the power cord, wait for a minute, and then plug the power cord back in and turn on the printer.

Inspect the Printer for Potential Hardware Issues:

  • Ensure there are no obstructions or jams inside the printer that could prevent normal operation.
  • Verify that the ink access door is properly closed.

I hope this helps.
