Hi! @stuartyboy, Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A great place where you can find solutions for your issues with help from the community!

I understand you have issues connecting your printer to the new network.

Don't worry I'll try to help you out.

Did you make any changes to your printer?

As you mentioned you have issues connecting your printer to the new network.

Please try few steps recommended below.

First, reset the print system and uninstall the printer software on your MAC.

• Click the Apple menu icon, and then click “System Preferences”.

• Click “Printers and Scanner” / “Print and Scan” or “Print and Fax”.

• Right-click the blank space in the Printers list, and then click “Reset printing system”.

• Click “Reset” in the confirmation window.

• Enter an administrator username and password, and then click “OK”.

• Wait until the printing system is reset and no devices show in the Printers list

• Restart your computer and then go back to System preferences – Printers and scanners.

• Click the “Add button” (+).

• Find, and then select the name of your printer from the printer list, and then click “Add” to add your printer. Do not select an HP Fax driver.

      • Click “Print Using...” or “Use”, and then select Secure AirPrint or AirPrint. Alternatively, you may select the name of your printer if available in that list.

Option 1: Connect to the wireless network using WPS
If your wireless router supports Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS), this is the simplest way to set up the printer on a wireless network.
   NOTE:
This method requires a WPS-enabled wireless router to connect to the printer.
Press the WPS button on your wireless router.
On the printer control panel, press the Wireless button. The wireless light starts to blink.
Wait up to two minutes while the printer establishes a network connection with the wireless router.
Once the printer connects to the router, the wireless light is solid.
   NOTE:
If the Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) method is not successful, try another connection method.

Add your printer to the Printers list
Create a new print queue in System Preferences on the Mac to add your printer.
Search the Mac for Print and then click Print & Fax, Print & Scan, or Printers & Scanners in the list of results.
Check if the name of your printer displays in the Printers list.    Do one of the following steps, depending on if the printer is listed or not.
If your printer is listed, click the printer name, then continue with the remaining steps.
If your printer is not listed, click the plus sign, click Add Printer or Scanner, click the name of your printer, and then continue with the remaining steps.
Click the Use or Print Using box, then select the name of your printer in the pop-up menu.
Click Add to add the printer to the list.
If you are prompted to install your printer software from Apple, click Download and Install to complete the installation.
Close the System Preferences window.
