HP LaserJet MFP M140we Printer

Al terminarse el toner original y tras imprimir 3 veces, se presentó un signo de admiración amarillo y los tres puntos de cambio de toner, después de cambiar el toner por uno original, se quitó la señal de toner y se quedó solo el amarillo y ya no imprimió.

When the original toner was finished and after printing 3 times, a yellow exclamation mark was presented and the three toner change points, after changing the toner for an original one, the toner signal was removed and only the yellow was left and no longer printed.

Hi @marquillo70,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP LaserJet MFP M140we printer is displaying a yellow exclamation mark and is locked, it typically indicates a problem or issue that needs attention. Here are some steps to troubleshoot and resolve this issue.

  • Check for Paper Jams: Open the printer's access door and check for any paper jams. Even a small piece of paper can trigger a lockout condition. Carefully remove any jammed paper.
  • Check for Toner or Ink Issues: Ensure that the toner or ink cartridges are properly installed and have sufficient ink or toner. Replace any empty or low cartridges as needed.
  • Check the Display: Look at the printer's display panel for any error messages or codes. These codes can provide more specific information about the issue.
  • Restart the Printer: Try restarting the printer. Turn it off, wait a few seconds, and then turn it back on. This can sometimes clear minor errors.
  • Check for Firmware Updates: Visit the HP website and check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Installing the latest firmware can sometimes resolve issues.
  • Check Connectivity: Ensure that the printer is properly connected to your computer or network. If it's a networked printer, make sure it's connected to the network and has a valid IP address.
  • Reset the Printer: If the issue persists, you can try resetting the printer to its factory defaults. The exact steps for this may vary, so refer to your printer's user manual for instructions.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
