Deskjet 4100 all in one information light keeps flashing.

   Everything works,ink is good rebooted, still flashing.

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

 

Check the Printer Display for Messages

  • Look for any error codes or messages on the printer screen or HP Smart app.

Make Sure the Ink Cartridges Are Installed Correctly

  • Open the ink cartridge door and ensure both cartridges are firmly seated.

Check for Paper Jams

  • Remove any stuck paper from the input/output tray and inside the printer.

Reset the Printer

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.

Update Printer Firmware

  • Download the latest firmware update from HP Support and install it.

Check HP Smart App for Warnings

  • Open the HP Smart App on your computer or phone to see if there are any alerts.

Try a Hard Reset

  • Press and hold the Power button and Cancel button together for 10 seconds.
  • Release and check if the light stops flashing.
