Hi,
Apologies for jumping in, you cannot use HP 950 or 951 with the 8710 or 8720 printers...
Will an ink cartridge # 950 or 951 work in a newer printer such as the 8715 or 8725? the newer printer 8715 or 8725 use ink cartridges 952
You provide the answer as part of your question, the 8700 printers only uses the 952 cartridges in United States and Canada, the 950 and 951 cartridges are incompatible with the 8700 , these are intended for previous models such as the 8600 series..

Hi,
The question is where did you buy old printer and where do you live now. Very hard to make a right answer. As you can see 950 is NOT 951 nor 952.
