Product: officejet pro 8035
Operating System: macOS 10.13 High Sierra

the ink carriage on my officejet pro 8035 is stuck on the right side.  it moves about a 8th of an inch but will not center

@srtank, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

It seems like the print carriage is stuck. Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - 'Carriage Jam' or 'E3' Error Displays

 

Also, check for any paper jams inside the printer - Paper Jam Error

 

if the issue persists, I'm afraid this is a hardware issue. Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service/replacement options for your printer. 

You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.
