Hi @gl1500asp,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The blinking orange light on your HP Deskjet 2620 printer typically indicates an issue with the printer. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem.

  • Check for paper jams: Sometimes a paper jam can cause the printer to blink the orange light. Open the printer and check for any paper stuck inside the printer.
  • Check ink cartridges: Check the ink cartridges to ensure they are properly installed and have sufficient ink levels. If necessary, replace any empty or low ink cartridges.
  • Restart printer: Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source for a few minutes. Plug it back in and turn it on again to see if the issue has been resolved.
  • Reset printer: Press and hold the Power button on the printer for about 10 seconds to reset the printer. This can sometimes clear up any issues that are causing the printer to blink the orange light.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
