Hello everyone. My recently bought officejet 8012e keeps printing Get/devmgmt/mediahandlingdyn.xml http/1.1 host:localhost. how do i stop it? thank you c
onnected with a usb cable

I understand that your printer is printing unexpected text, I am glad to assist you.
Reset the printer
- Resetting the printer can often resolve printing issues.
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the power source.
- Wait 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet and to the printer.
Download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor
- Download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor to automatically identify and resolve the issue.
If the issue persists, uninstall and reinstall the printer driver
Perform root level uninstallation to remove all the printer related software's.
- In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
- Select your HP printer.
- Select Uninstall.
- In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
- In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
- Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
- Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
- Click on Drivers tab.
- Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
- Select OK.
- Remove all instances of the same.
- Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
- Close Devices and Printers.
- Restart the PC again.
Download and run the HP Smart app to install the printer
