@THEBARN04, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The flashing orange light on your HP DeskJet 4130e All-in-One Printer after printing usually indicates an error or attention requirement. Here are some possible causes and solutions:

Check for Error Messages

  • If there's a paper jam, low ink, or another issue, the HP Smart app may display an error message.
  • Open HP Smart on your PC or mobile device to check for alerts.

Check Ink Cartridges

  • The orange light may indicate a cartridge issue (low ink, improperly installed, or faulty cartridges).
  • Remove and reinstall the cartridges, ensuring they click into place.
  • If ink levels are low, try replacing the cartridges.

Clear Paper Jams

  • Even small paper bits can trigger warnings.
  • Open the printer’s rear access panel and inside compartments to check for jammed paper.
  • Remove any stuck paper carefully.

Restart Printer

  • Turn off the printer, unplug it for 1-2 minutes, and then turn it back on.
  • This can reset the error condition.

Update Firmware & Drivers

  • Visit HP Support and update your printer's firmware and drivers to ensure it runs properly.

Reset the Printer

If the issue persists, perform a factory reset:

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Unplug the power cable for 60 seconds.
  • Press and hold the Power and Cancel (X) buttons for 10 seconds.
  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
