Cancelled Instant Ink, bought a new Genuine HP toner cartridge - error 75 - won't print ,  Re started repeatedly

I am guessing the cartridge is not genuine.

Maybe it was missed in my original request, but we had already cancelled the ink contract and installed a brand new Genuine "HP toner cartridge" and tried rebooting multiple times.    Please help us narrow the resolution options to those that relate to our condition.  Thanking you in advance.

did you confirm the cancellation? the one thing I can see as a problem is that the subscription is valid until the end of the current billing period. So if you cancelled, installed the cartridge but your billing cycle ended after you installed that cartridge it has likely been tagged as a Instant Ink cartridge and now will not work.

For what it is worth, This video shows how to determine if your LaserJet toner is genuine.

There are still a few HP laserjet printers that actually check the toner and will refuse to print.

Per the app: The subscription was cancelled 12/15/2024 and we installed the toner 1/30/2025
