HI,

 

for one week my m1522nf printer is not working.

 

when i start it i'm getting >>>>>

 

and then it stuck.

 

anyone knows what can i do ?

This is always a formatter issue. One thing you can try is to remove the formatter (located on left side) and remove any memory chips or black tape by the memory slot. Now place the formatter in a baking pan with the chips facing up and the board propped up so the bottom does not touch the pan. Now pre-heat a good oven to 350F (177C) and when the oven is ready, place the pan with the board in the oven and keep in the oven for exactly 8 minutes. Remove the pan and let cool for 15 minutes. Place the card back in the printer, connect all the connections making sure all are connected correctly. Play close attention to the modem cable that attaches between the modem and the formatter. Turn on the printer and hopefully it will get to where it will ask you for date a time and this happens most times when baking or just comes to ready.. This is not a joke. It works 95% of the time.

I can't belive it but it worked.

 

I baked the formater and the printer started to work.

I did it with my HP M1522nf and its ready running at 100 %, but that's not all , I had an apple time capsule that sometimes do not start and then i "cook it" the same way and now also is working 100 %
