Hi @Erwin51,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Error messages on printers can be frustrating, but they usually provide helpful information to identify and resolve the issue. In the case of the "E0" error on your HP Envy 6022E, it indicates that there is a paper jam. Here's what you can do to fix it.
- Turn off the printer: Press the power button to turn off the printer. This is a safety measure to prevent any potential damage while troubleshooting.
- Check for jammed paper: Carefully open the printer's access door and check for any jammed paper inside the printer. Pay close attention to the paper path, rollers, and any other areas where the paper could be stuck.
- Remove any jammed paper: If you find any jammed paper, gently remove it by pulling it in the direction of paper movement. Be careful not to tear the paper, as any remaining bits can cause additional jams.
- Clear the paper path: Ensure there are no small pieces of torn paper or any foreign objects obstructing the paper path.
- Reload the paper tray: Make sure the paper stack in the tray is aligned correctly and not exceeding the recommended paper capacity.
- Close the printer access door: Once you have cleared the jam and ensured there are no obstructions, close the printer's access door securely.
- Power on the printer: Turn the printer back on and check if the error message has cleared.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
