@RaulB2, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The error message "There is a problem with the printhead" on your HP OfficeJet 6958 typically indicates a hardware issue with the printhead or ink system. Here are the steps you can follow to try and resolve this:
Reset the Printer
A simple reset can sometimes clear temporary errors.
- Turn on the printer.
- With the printer on, unplug the power cord from the back of the printer and from the wall outlet.
- Wait for 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet and then into the printer.
- Turn the printer back on.
Check if the error persists.
Remove and Reinstall Ink Cartridges
- Open the ink cartridge access door.
- Wait until the carriage stops moving.
- Remove all cartridges.
- Reinsert each cartridge into its correct color-coded slot until it clicks into place.
- Close the access door.
