My new 305x printer cartridge does not fit my HP LaserJet Pro 400 M475dn printer. Strangely, this is the second of a two cartridge bundle, and the first one and many before these , worked fine. Could this be a mis-labeled product?

Is this OEM or 3rd party? Mislabels are extremely rare but could happen.  Compare a cartridge that fits to one that does not and you may notice slight differences in the shell of the cartridge.

Thank you for your response. The cartridge in question is true-blue HP as far as I know. I have purchased these larger capacity black toner cartridges before without a problem. This particular one is from a set of two packaged together; the first one was just fine as were many before that. It is a puzzle. Clearly the one that won't work for me is slightly "taller," but looks identical to the "A" color cartridges in form otherwise.
