Hi @Sam3891,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand the "in park" message on your HP Photosmart e-All-in-One Printer series - D110 typically means that the printhead is in the resting position, also known as the "parked" position. This is a normal state for the printer when it's not actively printing. However, if you're seeing this message and the printer is not responding to print commands, it may indicate an issue that needs to be addressed.

Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this issue:

1. Power Cycle the Printer

  • Turn off the printer by pressing the power button.
  • Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer and the wall outlet.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds to ensure all power is discharged from the printer.
  • Plug the power cord back in and turn the printer back on.

2. Check for Any Obstructions

  • Open the printer cover and check for any paper jams or obstructions that might be preventing the printhead from moving freely.
  • Gently move the printhead back and forth to ensure it can move without restriction.

3. Reset the Printer

  • Resetting the printer can sometimes clear errors and bring the printer back to a ready state.
  • To reset the printer, disconnect the power cord while the printer is still on, wait for 60 seconds, and then reconnect the power cord.

4. Update Printer Firmware Update the firmware on an HP printer

  • Make sure your printer's firmware is up to date. Outdated firmware can sometimes cause errors.
  • You can check for firmware updates via the HP website or the HP Smart app.

5. Check Printer Software

  • Ensure that you have the latest printer driver and software installed on your computer.
  • You can download the latest drivers from the HP support website.

6. Run HP Print and Scan Doctor

  • HP provides a free tool called HP Print and Scan Doctor that can help diagnose and fix printing problems.

Refer to this document: HP Photosmart e-All-in-One Printer series - D110 User manual

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
