My HP ENVY6052e won't print & the printer info report doesn't explain what that problem is. Now what?

Since your HP ENVY 6052e isn’t printing and the printer report doesn’t specify the issue, here are some steps to troubleshoot:

 

1. Check Printer Connections

  • Ensure the printer is properly connected to your computer or network.
  • If using Wi-Fi, confirm the printer is connected to the correct network.

2. Clear the Print Queue

  • Open Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  • Right-click your printer and select See what’s printing.
  • Click Printer in the top menu and select Cancel All Documents.

3. Perform a Hard Reset

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.

4. Check Ink Levels

  • Open the HP Smart app or Printer Control Panel.
  • Navigate to Ink Levels and ensure cartridges have sufficient ink.

5. Update Printer Drivers

  • Go to Device Manager (Win + X > Device Manager).
  • Expand Printers, right-click your printer, and select Update Driver.
  • If updating doesn’t work, try Uninstalling the driver and reinstalling it from HP’s support page.
