Hi @loajean ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP DeskJet 3772 is showing as connected but with no internet access, there are several steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

Check Wi-Fi Connection:

  • Ensure that your Wi-Fi network is functioning properly and that other devices can connect to it without issues.
  • Verify that you are using the correct Wi-Fi password when connecting the printer.

Restart Devices:

  • Restart both your printer and your router. Sometimes, a simple reboot can resolve connectivity issues.

Update Firmware:

  • Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Updating the firmware can address bugs and improve overall performance.
  • You can usually find firmware updates on the HP support website.

Reconfigure Wi-Fi Settings:

  • On your printer, go to the settings menu and navigate to the wireless or network settings.
  • Select the option to set up a new Wi-Fi connection and enter the correct Wi-Fi credentials.

Check Signal Strength:

  • Ensure that the printer is within the range of your Wi-Fi router. If the signal strength is weak, consider moving the printer closer to the router.

Use a Static IP Address:

  • Assign a static IP address to your printer instead of relying on DHCP. This can sometimes improve stability.
  • Consult your printer manual for instructions on setting a static IP.

Network Firewall and Security Settings:

  • Check if there are any security settings on your router that might be preventing the printer from connecting. Ensure that the printer is not blocked by any firewall settings.

Update Printer Drivers:

  • Ensure that you have the latest printer drivers installed on your computer or mobile device.

Factory Reset:

  • As a last resort, you can perform a factory reset on your printer. This will reset all settings, including Wi-Fi configurations, so be sure to reconfigure the printer afterward.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
