Product: laser jet4050
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 in S Mode

my laserjet 4050 printer will not let me print from the paper #2 only manually from the top manual one.

im getting a message "this job requires manual paper insert"

i deleted the printer and re installed but no luck. i changed the settings on the computer to tray to but no luck

Print out the configuration page and make sure that tray 2 is detecting the paper size properly. On a machine as old as this the micro switches that detect paper size often fail and then because the paper does not match the job the printer reverts to asking for paper through the manual tray.
