Ideas...
Open the printer tray - wait a few seconds - close the tray.
Check for a message on the printer - edit / modify / change the paper size & type.
If your printer is connected to your network,
You might be able to use the Embedded Web Server (EWS) to check / modify the Tray and Paper Management settings.
Example - Embedded Web Server (EWS) - Browser
EWS – Browser – Tray and Paper Management
Open your favorite browser > type / enter Printer IP address into URL / Address bar
Tab Settings > Preferences > Tray and Paper Management
Model Dependent: Advanced section
Click Apply to save changes
