Hi @fer_98,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If the black ink light on your HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 2135 All-In-One Printer is blinking and it's not printing, there are several steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue.

Check Ink Levels: Make sure the new black ink cartridge is properly installed and has ink in it. Sometimes, new cartridges can be defective or have insufficient ink.

Remove and Reinstall Cartridge: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, and then carefully remove the black ink cartridge. Reinstall it, ensuring that it clicks into place securely.

Check for Protective Tape: Ensure that you have removed any protective tape or plastic covering on the new ink cartridge. This tape can obstruct the ink flow.

Clean Printhead: If you still experience issues, the printhead may be clogged. You can try to clean it by following these steps:

a. Open the HP printer software on your computer.

b. Select "Print & Scan," "Print & Fax," or "Devices and Printers."

c. Locate your printer and select "Maintain Your Printer" or a similar option.

d. Follow the on-screen instructions to run the printhead cleaning process.

Align Printhead: After cleaning the printhead, you may need to align it to ensure the ink flows properly.

a. Open the printer software on your computer.

b. Select "Print & Scan," "Print & Fax," or "Devices and Printers."

c. Locate your printer and select "Maintain Your Printer" or a similar option.

d. Follow the on-screen instructions to align the printhead.

Update Printer Firmware: Make sure your printer has the latest firmware update. You can usually check for updates through the printer's control panel or the HP website.

Restart Printer: Sometimes, simply turning off the printer, unplugging it from the power source, waiting for a minute, and then plugging it back in and turning it on can resolve minor issues.

Check for Error Messages: If you receive any error messages on the printer's display, note them down, as they can help diagnose the issue more accurately.

Check for Paper Jams: Ensure there are no paper jams or obstructions within the printer that could be causing the issue.

Test with a Different Document: Try printing a different document or image to rule out issues with the specific document you're trying to print.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
