Hi @douglas53

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

The "Memory Low" error on your HP LaserJet 200 Color MFP M276nw usually happens when the printer is handling large or complex print jobs that exceed its available memory. Here are some steps to troubleshoot:

Steps to Fix "Memory Low" Error

Restart the Printer

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it for 60 seconds.
  • Plug it back in and restart.

Reduce Print Job Complexity

  • If printing high-resolution images or PDFs, try reducing the file size.
  • Print in black & white instead of color to lower memory usage.

Clear Saved Faxes (If Applicable)

  • On the printer’s menu, go to Setup > Service > Fax Service > Clear Saved Faxes.
  • This frees up memory.

Perform a Hard Reset

  • Turn off the printer, then press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
  • Restart and test printing again.

Update the firmware on an HP printer:

  • HP regularly releases new firmware versions for printer enhancements, app updates, or issue fixes. Updating firmware ensures your printer performs optimally.
  • Click the link below for step-by-step instructions on how to update your printer’s firmware:
    HP Printer Firmware Update Guide.

Reset NVRAM (Non-Volatile Memory)

  • On the printer’s menu, go to Setup > Service > Restore Defaults.
  • This resets internal memory settings.

Let me know if any of these steps help! You deserve a smooth printing experience.
