I need to add a paper size of 6" by 9" to print a document. I have not been able to find this. I tried going through the settings->printers for Windows, and the HP app. I also tried going into printer properties. Is there any way to do this?

Hi @BertaMS,
I am the The_Fossette. It looks like you were interacting with @Rainbow23, but he is out of the office today so I'll take over from here.
I checked the specifications of your printer and see that the printer doesn't support custom size paper in Windows.
Please refer to the below link "Under Paper-handling specifications" for the supported paper sizes.
Hope that answers your question.

Hi @BertaMS,
Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.
Thank you for posting your query. I'll be more than glad to help you.
I understand that you are facing issues with your HP Officejet Pro 8600 e-All-in-One Printer wherein it does not print for the paper size 6" by 9".
This issue could occur if the paper settings are not correct.
Let's go through a few steps that may help to fix this issue.
And here are a few steps in the link: Creating Custom Paper Sizes
You may also check the link: Print Driver Settings Guide (Windows)
Let me know if this works.
You have a good day ahead.

Hi @BertaMS,
Thank you for your reply, I'll be more than glad to help you.
I understand that you wanted to know if you need to reboot the printer to get the correct settings.
You may try performing a hard reset by following the steps listed below:
1.Disconnect if there is any fax or USB cable connected to the unit and then turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
2.With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
3.Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
4.Wait at least 60 seconds.
5.Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.
6.Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
7.Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on. The printer might go through a warm-up period.
8.Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
You have a good day ahead.
