HP Officejet Pro 9025

I ordered a new printhead from a vendor recommended by HP's site.  In the box came the printhead and startup cartridges.  However, I received an error that said one of the cartridges was leaking and that I should check each cartridge.  I did not notice that any were leaking, but now that I have pulled out and reinserted each cartridge, I'm getting an error that I'm not using new cartridges.

I have another set of new cartridges that I just bought thinking that would cure my prior issues, but they only confirmed the printhead needed a replacement.  I now have two new sets of ink cartridges that have been inserted, removed and reinserted but never used to print anything (one for the prior defective printhead, and one set that came with the new printhead).  I can't seem to get past this current error message.  Even if I buy another set of cartridges, they would have to be "setup" cartridges, right?

I've been through the virtual help site and tried everything I can find on the internet, but I really  need some way to override this error and proceed with the setup up procedure.
