- Is HP Full-featured software installed on your computer?
- If No, click here to download the same. Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation.
Step 1: Use an automated tool to clean the cartridges
Step 2: Clean the area around the ink nozzles
Step 3: Print a Print Quality Diagnostic report
Note: Refer to this document to perform the above 3 steps.
Step 4: Replace the defective black ink cartridge.
If you have a defective cartridge or printhead, it might be under warranty. To check the warranty on your ink or toner supplies, go to Printer and Page Yield Overview, and then review the limited warranty information for your supplies.
