envy 5032 printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

hp envy 5032 all-in-one printer is only printing images/graphics but is not printing any text. Ink levels are fine. I tested printing out random text on a new document yet the paper comes out blank, whereas images on the document will still print. I do not understand why this is happening, any help will be appreciated.

Are you using PDF documents to print?

To check if the printer works fine, try making a color copy of a Document. If that works fine and if you are using a PDF document to print and have an issue, try the below steps...

Open the PDF doucument .
Click on   File > Properties .  Document Properties  will be displayed.
Under " Document Properties " window, Click on "Security" tab.

Check if "Printing: Allowed". If it is not probably you will not be able to print.

Else try the below steps .....
File > Print . Make sure Your printer is selected, then Click on "Advance " at bottom.
Make sure "Print as Image " is having check. Click OK . And click on OK again to Print.

The printer works fine and prints in colour. I was at first trying to print a PDF however I tested to see if text and pictures would print on a new Word document but it was only the images that printed on the word document and not the text. As for the suggestions you gave for the PDF, it did not say whether or not printing was allowed however it did say reading, writing, modifying, executing, etc. was allowed, however I doubt that has anything to do with the problem as even Word documents are only printing out images and not the text.
