Hi @HMJJXG,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP OfficeJet 3380 is showing "attention required" and not printing, here are some additional troubleshooting steps you can try.
Check for Paper Jams: Ensure there are no paper jams in the printer. Open all the access panels and check for any paper stuck inside.
Check Ink Levels: Make sure the ink cartridges have enough ink. Replace any empty or low cartridges.
Printer Status: Make sure the printer is turned on and connected to your computer. Verify that there are no error lights or messages on the printer itself.
Reset Printer: Perform a hard reset of the printer. Turn it off, unplug it from the power source, wait for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.
Reinstall Printer Drivers: Sometimes, issues can be resolved by reinstalling or updating the printer drivers. Go to the HP website, download the latest drivers for your OfficeJet 3380, and install them.
Check Printer Queue: Go to "Devices and Printers" in Windows, find your HP OfficeJet 3380, right-click on it, and select "See what's printing." Make sure there are no stuck print jobs or errors in the print queue.
Clear Print Spooler: The print spooler service can sometimes cause issues. To clear it:
- Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
- Find "Print Spooler" in the list, right-click on it, and select "Restart."
Check for Firmware Updates: Sometimes, firmware updates can resolve issues. Visit HP's support site and check if there is a firmware update available for your printer.
Network Issues: If your printer is networked, ensure it's properly connected to the network. Try reconnecting it or use a wired connection to test.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
