Product: HP Officejet pro 8610

Hi - printer comes up with "There is a problem with the printer or ink system. Turn printer off.....". I've tried switching the printer and off including disconnecting the cable multiple times. I've lifted the cartridge unit latch and gently moved the cartridge unit from side to side about 10 times and I've checked to ensure the most up to date firmward is loade: Firmware: FDPICN2022AR / Software v:032.003.198.49673 / Printer driver: 13.33.00.2473. The problem arose when I inserted a new black cartridge. Its an HP cartridge. When I look at the 'estinated ink levels' section in HP printer Assistant, the image shows the black cartridge to be full and with an HP logo but with a red circle and a white cross at the top of that cartidge. I have tried to run a printhead clean but comes up with error: 3221225477 so I can't reun a printhead clean. Anyone have any ideas?
