My printer only prints photo's partly on 10x15 cm / 3x5 inch paper (about half a photo). The quality of the print is okay.

Hi @hetgen,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I understand that your printer is partially printing.  I'd like to help!

I would recommend you check the print settings before sending the print job.

1. From the File menu in your software, choose Print.

2. Make sure your printer is selected.

3. Set the print options. If you do not see options on the Print dialog, click Show Details

     a. Choose the appropriate paper size in the Paper Size pop-up menu.

     b. Select an Orientation.

     c. From the pop-up menu, choose Paper Type/Quality, and then choose the following settings:

            ● Paper Type: The appropriate photo paper type

            ● Quality: Best or Maximum dpi

            ● Click the Color Options disclosure triangle, and then choose the appropriate Photo Fix option.

                   — Off: applies no changes to the image.

                   — On: automatically focuses on the image; moderately adjusts image sharpness.

4. Select any other print settings you want, and then click Print.

How is the printer connected?  The issue you are having seems to be a communication issue between the computer and printer.  If the printer is connected by wireless LAN you may check the document too if that works.

Also, check this article here

And do not forget to update the firmware if not done already.

The fact the issue happens at different locations on the page leads me to believe it is not related to the image or how it was edited.  It might be interesting to save the image to a memory card and plug this directly into the printer and try printing from there.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Sorry for my late reply. Your guidance didn't fix the issue. Could it be something with the paperfeed? As mentioned, the quality of what is printed is really good. On A4 photopaper, there are no issues. On 4x6 inch a centimeter is left blank. Also if i feed the tray with one sheet of paper per photo.Foto_2022-09-24_163907.jpg The source of the print job doesn't seem to make a difference. The printer is connected by wire. From android telephone the issue is the same. See the scan... Regards,
