@Mike-riv

Welcome to the HP Support Community

Could you please help me with the exact model name or the product number of the printer and the operating system of the computer?

Did you try printing from a different application?

Are you facing any issue while printing a regular document?

Keep me posted.

Have a great day!

Cheers:)

Thank you for your response. Its an hp 2652 running windows 10 64 bit. I tried printing from a number of applications with same results. I hooked up an old printer and there was no problem printing from it. I have not tried printing a text document.

@Mike-riv

This is a driver issue.

I recommend you delete the driver at the root level and Install the drivers, follow the steps below:

Remove the USB if connected

1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features

2.) Select your HP Printer

3.) Select Uninstall

4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers

5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose `Delete' or `Remove Device'

6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.

7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between "printui.exe" and "/s")

8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab

9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom

10.) Select Ok

11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows

12.) Close Devices and Printers

Then, Click on this link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-deskjet-2652-all-in-one-printer/15787933 and download the drivers and Install the driver.

Keep me posted, how it goes!

Thank you for responding. I have already tried your recommendation without success. I believe this printer does not support borderless printing. I tried printing photos from an old hp printer connected to my sons PC and it has the same problem. After researching I found neither hp printers support borderless printing and I think that may be the csuse. If you or anybody can confirm that would be very helpful. Thank you.
