It sounds like your printer is receiving power but isn't displaying anything on the screen, preventing you from changing cartridges. Here are some troubleshooting steps to try:

 

Ensure the Power Cable is Secure

  • Disconnect and reconnect the power cable at both the printer and wall outlet.
  • Try a different power outlet to rule out electrical issues.

Perform a Hard Reset

  • Unplug the printer from the power source.
  • Wait 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.

Check for Display Issues

  • If the printer has physical buttons, try pressing them to see if the screen responds.
  • If the screen remains blank, the issue may be with the display panel or internal power board.

Try a Different Power Adapter (if applicable)

  • If your printer uses an external power adapter, test with a compatible replacement.
