If you have set a password for the pre-boot menu the only way to clear that password is through the pre-boot service tools which requires a password that under my NDA agreement with HP I am not able to disclose. You may find the service code elsewhere on the internet or you may be able to get that code by contacting HP. Failing that you would need to engage an authorized service provider.
