I am trying to pront 5x7 envelopes using a mail merge in Word. The printer is saying photo tray no matter what I try to do the envellopes don't fit in the photo tray. I was able to print the envelopes last year using the same printer.

Any suggestions?

Hey there! @lynne_sh, Welcome to HP forums.

I understand you have issues printing envelopes from your printer.

Don't worry I'll try to help you out.

Did you any changes to your printer?

What application are you using to print envelopes?

Have you tried printing using a different application?

I have checked the printer specifications and your printer does not support printing 5x7 envelopes. Please find the supported paper sizes below.

Letter, Legal, 4 x 6 in, 5 x 7 in, 8 x 10 in, No. 10 envelopes

Refer the product specifications page of your printer for more information. Click Here

Try the steps recommended below to Print an envelope in Pages

1.In Pages, choose File > New (from the File menu at the top of your computer screen).

2.Click Stationery on the left side of the template chooser.

3.Scroll down to the Envelopes section, then double-click an envelope template.

4.Click Document, then click Document.

5.Choose an envelope size from the second pop-up menu in the Printer & Paper Size section.

6.On the envelope template, click placeholder text in the recipient address, then type the address.

You can add or delete lines as needed.

7.Double-click text in the return address, then type your address.

The return address is a text box. Drag the selection handles if you want to resize it.

8.Choose File > Print (from the File menu at the top of your computer screen), choose a printer from the pop-up Printer menu, then click Print.

To create personalized envelopes with your return address, you can save the envelope as a custom template. Your envelope template appears in the My Templates section of the template chooser if you save it there.
