Hi @Chrissie281

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I'm really sorry you're seeing “print job cancelled” when trying to print wirelessly from your laptop to the OfficeJet Pro 9120e. That kind of interruption can be deeply frustrating, especially when everything appears connected.

Let’s walk through a few focused steps to help restore smooth, reliable printing.

Steps to Resolve “Print Job Cancelled” on HP OfficeJet Pro 9120e (Windows 11)

1. Restart Devices and Clear Print Queue

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it for 60 seconds
  • Restart your laptop
  • On your laptop, go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners
  • Select your printer > Open queue
  • Cancel any stuck jobs and close the window

2. Reconnect Printer in HP App

  • Open the HP App on your laptop
  • Remove the printer from the app
  • Re-add it by selecting Add Printer > HP OfficeJet Pro 9120e
  • Ensure it connects via Wi-Fi Direct or your local network (not USB or Bluetooth)

3. Update Printer Firmware

Outdated firmware can cause job handling issues.

4. Reinstall Full Feature Software

This ensures proper communication between your laptop and printer.

  • On the same driver page, download the Full Software Solution
  • Uninstall the current printer from Control Panel > Devices and Printers
  • Restart your laptop and install the new package

5. Confirm Network Stability

  • Ensure both printer and laptop are connected to the same 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi band
  • Avoid guest networks or VPNs
  • Print a Network Configuration Page from the printer to confirm IP address and signal strength

Let me know if you'd like help locating your printer’s IP address or checking the firmware version. Once these steps are complete, your print jobs should flow smoothly without cancellation.
