Hello,
My printer HP Deskjet 3762, is well set up on my Mac using Ventura 13.0.1.
It was working perfectly before I moved. I connected it again today from the beginning, and it is connected.
My issue is that the job I send to the printer appears in the queue, stays there for a few seconds, saying it is being processed, but then disappears from the queue without being printed.
Ink levels are fine on the printer, but from my computer, I can't check the ink levels - unknown - and on the window of printing jobs, it says ink/toner low.
Is there anything I can do to fix the problem?

Hi @elisam17,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you've sent a print job to your HP Deskjet 3762 printer and it disappears from the queue without printing, there could be a few possible reasons for this issue. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem.
Check Printer Status: Make sure that your printer is turned on, properly connected to the computer, and has enough paper and ink. Check the printer's display for any error messages or indicators that might give you a clue about what's wrong.
Restart the Printer: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary glitches. Turn off the printer, wait for a minute, and then turn it back on.
Check Print Queue: On your computer, go to the print queue to see if the print job is still listed there. If it's still in the queue, try restarting the print spooler service. You can do this by:
- Windows: Search for "Services" in the start menu, find "Print Spooler" in the list, right-click it, and choose "Restart".
- Mac: Go to "System Preferences" > "Printers & Scanners", select your printer, and click "Open Print Queue". From the "Printer" menu, choose "Cancel All Documents". Then, try printing again.
Check Printer Connection: Ensure that the printer is properly connected to your computer. If you're using a USB connection, try a different USB port. If you're using a wireless connection, check that both the printer and the computer are connected to the same network.
Update Printer Drivers: Outdated or incompatible printer drivers can cause printing issues. Visit the HP website and download the latest drivers for your printer model. Install the drivers and see if that resolves the issue.
Clear Print Spooler: Sometimes, a corrupted print spooler can cause printing problems. You can clear the print spooler by stopping the spooler service, deleting the files in the spooler folder, and then restarting the service. Be cautious when deleting files from the spooler folder, as it might impact other print jobs as well.
Try a Test Print: Print a test page from the printer itself (usually done by pressing a combination of buttons on the printer). If the test page prints successfully, the issue might be related to the computer or software settings.
Try Another Document or Application: If the issue is specific to a particular document or application, try printing a different document or using a different application to see if the problem persists.
Check for Software Conflicts: Sometimes, other software or security programs can interfere with printing. Temporarily disable any firewall, antivirus, or security software and see if the print job goes through.
Restart Your Computer: Sometimes, a simple computer restart can resolve issues related to software conflicts.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
