On a laser printer two things can cause a white blank on the page.

1. There is something stuck in the toner cartridge that is blocking toner from being placed on the paper. I bit of paper from a jam could be stuck inside. Remote the cartridge and check closely on the bottom, or try another cartridge.

2. Something is blocking the laser from writing the image on the drum unit of the cartridge. Remove the cartridge and check closely on the top of the cartridge cavity. There is a slit where the laser passes through and shines on the drum. Any foreign material will block the light and cause the white strip.
