Officejet Pro 8610
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After a Windows 10 update/hijack, my HP Officejet Pro 8610 is no longer listed in the printers.  I have tried reinstalling everything, restarting, unplugging, find printer finds nothing (the printer is right next to me).

HELP!

Thank you!

The printer is not detected after Windows update. Is that right?

I would like to definitely help you.

First of all, uninstall the old drivers installed in the PC following the steps below.

  • Right click “Start” and select “Programs and features”.
  • Find the option which has the printer name and click “Uninstall” at the top of the window.

Restart the PC and download the latest drivers for the printer from the link below and install the printer. That should work.
