Product: HP ENVY 5660 e-All-in-One Printer

I recently got a new motem...my HP ENVY 5660 all-in-one printer goes offline when I turn on the VPN protection mode.  When I have troubleshooted the HP Scan Dr. diagnosed the problem with " wrong printer port configured" and corrected the problem.  However, the printer still was offline.  When I turned off the VPN the printer worked.
