I understand you are trying to troubleshoot your HP DeskJet 2752e All-in-One Printer stuck in sleep mode.

Please try the following steps:

1. Power Cycle the Printer

  • Unplug the printer from the power source without turning it off.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds.
  • Plug the printer back into the power source and turn it on.
  • Check if the printer wakes up.

2. Check for Printer Firmware Updates  Update the firmware on an HP printer

Sometimes, outdated firmware can cause issues like this. Here's how to check for updates:

  • HP Smart App: Open the HP Smart app on your macOS device. Under Printer Settings or Printer Maintenance, you should find a section to check for updates.
  • HP Website:
    1. Go to HP Support - Software & Drivers.
    2. Enter "HP DeskJet 2752e" in the search bar.
    3. Select your printer and your operating system (macOS Monterey).
    4. Check for any available firmware updates. If an update is available, download and install it following the on-screen instructions.

3. Check Energy Settings

  • HP Smart App: Open the HP Smart app, navigate to Settings > Energy Settings, and check the sleep settings. You can either disable sleep mode or set the time for a longer period before it goes into sleep.
