Can you please help me out.

The printer is stuck on "recovery process".

The error coming up: "Service Station Stalled. Press OK button to have the printer automatically attempt its recovery process".

I press OK and the following comes up:

"Improper shutdown. Caution: The printer was not turned off properly. To avoid damaging  the printer, always press the on/off button to turn it off"

I press OK and then end up with the same original error:

The error coming up: "Service Station Stalled. Press OK button to have the printer automatically attempt its recovery process".

I have gone through the above a few times but it's stuck in that loop

I have tried the following:

1- Turning the printer off and then on

2- Unplugging the chord from the printer and plugging it in

With the power on, unplug the unit from the wall outlet.  Wait 10 mins.  Plug the unit back into the wall outlet not using any power strip or surge protector.  Power the unit up if it does not.  Status now?

Do this 3-4 times.  If the same error occurs, your printer needs service.

I was just experiencing this same issue.  I finally got my printer working again by unplugging from the back as suggested and while the power was off, manually moving the printer carriage all the way to the left.  Then I plugged the printer back in and this time the printer started up normally and the error did not occur.
