@mbright12, Hello and welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.
I'm here to help you get your HP OfficeJet 4650 back to printing smoothly. Let's go through a few steps to diagnose and resolve the issue.
Check Printer Status
- Make sure the printer is powered on and connected to your Wi-Fi network or USB.
- Look at the printer’s display panel for any error messages (like paper jams, low ink, etc.).
Set Your Printer as Default
- Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers
- Right-click your HP OfficeJet 4650 and select “Set as default printer”
Check Print Queue
- In the same Devices and Printers window, double-click your printer.
- If there are stuck print jobs, right-click and cancel them.
Reinstall Printer Drivers
Sometimes reinstalling the driver helps:
- Go to HP Software and Driver Downloads
- Enter HP OfficeJet 4650, download the latest driver, and install it.
Try a Test Print
- After reinstalling, try printing a test page from your computer or the printer’s control panel.
I hope the information shared has been useful and resolves your concern.
Wishing you a smooth and hassle-free experience ahead!
