HP Recommended

I wanted to try this but, my printer continues to automatically cycle on and off with the 79 error and I can't get it to allow me to set the setup to allow downgrades. In fact it won't allow the computer to access it between automatic cycles on and off. I even bought genuine HP cartridges and it continues. Any suggestions?
