Example: HP ENVY 5055
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I am not able to get my HP ENVY 5055 to print anything.  It goes through the print cycle, the page comes out blank.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software, cleaned and aligned the print heads/inks, still nothing.  What can I do?

If the printer has been sitting for a long time without being used you can try the following.

Get a plastic dish and put 1/4" of hot water in it.  
Remove the cartridge(s) and put the print nozzle(s) down into the water.  
Soak for five minutes, then remove and clean/dry the contacts with a lint free wipe.  (coffee filter)
Install back in the printer and run a cleaning cycle.

Thanks for your advice, I have done all those steps, and the pages still come out blank.  We now have TWO HP printers that will  not print.,  I have become very disappointed with HP products, and will probably not purchase them in the future.

Is the warranty for both printer over?

I would try a new black cartridge in the 5055.

Unfortunately, both are past warranty.  I did put in new inks, and still does not print, neither black nor colors.  I am pretty disgusted with it all.  HP is NO HELP at all.
