Hi @213412,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
Thanks for sharing your situation! Since you're using Windows 7 (32-bit) and your HP printer isn't printing, and you suspect the USB cable is faulty while Wi-Fi isn't connecting, here are some steps and suggestions to help:
Recommended Steps:
- Replace the USB Cable
- Look for a USB Type-A to Type-B cable (commonly used for printers).
- You can find one at local electronics stores or online (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.).
- Make sure it's USB 2.0 or higher for better compatibility.
- Temporarily Avoid Wi-Fi Printing
Since your Wi-Fi isn't connecting, using a new USB cable is the most reliable way to restore printing.
- Reinstall Printer Drivers for Windows 7 (32-bit)
- Visit the official HP support page for your printer model.
- Download the correct Windows 7 (32-bit) drivers.
- Here's the general HP driver page:
👉 Official HP® Support
- Check Printer Status
- Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
- Right-click your printer > See what's printing > Printer menu > make sure "Use Printer Offline" is unchecked.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
