HP OfficeJet Pro 9025e All-in-One Printer

hello,

our printer will not work and has an error message that reads "a problem has occurred with your account.  you will be unable to print until this issue is resolved." I am logged into our account and I'm not finding any issues. Could you please assist us with this matter?

Hi @l33hairartistry

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

It sounds like your HP OfficeJet Pro 9025e is experiencing an account-related issue that’s preventing printing. This problem is often linked to HP Instant Ink or HP+ authentication, where the printer requires verification before allowing prints.

Steps to Fix the Issue

Check HP Instant Ink or HP+ Enrollment

  • If your printer is enrolled in HP Instant Ink, ensure your subscription is active.
  • Log into HP Smart and verify your account status.

Perform a Printer Reset

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it for 60 seconds.
  • Plug it back in and restart.

Re-enable Web Services

  • On the printer’s control panel, go to Setup > Web Services.
  • Select Remove Web Services, then Enable Web Services again.

Update Printer Firmware

  • If your printer’s firmware is outdated, it may cause authentication errors.
  • You can check for updates on HP’s official support page.
