looks like you're printer and your Mac are mad at each other, don't worry let's get them communicating back again.
Make sure the printer is powered on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Mac. If you're using USB, try a different cable and port.
Restart your printer, Mac, and router. Unplug the printer for 30 seconds, then turn it back on.
Reset the printing system on your Mac. Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners. Right-click on your HP printer and select Reset Printing System. Re-add the printer by clicking the plus (+) button and selecting it from the list.
Download and install the latest HP Easy Start for macOS from HP's website. Follow the setup process to reinstall the correct drivers.
Try printing with AirPrint. Remove the HP drivers and add the printer as an AirPrint printer: Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners, click Add Printer (+), and choose your printer. Select Use: AirPrint instead of HP software.
